Haies

La fauvette est une sorte d’oiseau.
Les deux aux trois ne sont pas vraiment égaux.
Un tigre est au moins un chat,
Et le lard plus ou moins de la hure.

Argent prêté n’est qu’un emprunt,
Et le granit un caillou plutôt brun.

Les pâtes vous remplissent assez,
Et un meurtre, c’est techniquement tuer.
Le peu cuit est en fait du genre bleu.
Et cinq en partie trois et deux.

Pinochet est fasciste, qu’on l’apprenne,
Sept jours font pratiquement une semaine.
Le terme se trouve souvent à la fin.
Une courbe se redresse en vain.

Le diamant, pour la forme, est dur,

Et le miel certainement pas du marbre.
Le soleil, dit-on, se lève toujours à l’est.
Le lierre est particulièrement leste.

Un chien, dans un sens, c’est un canin.
Le cochon, lui, véritablement un porcin,
Et Ronald Reagan est un fermier.

Hedges

A robin is a sort of bird.
Second’s kind of never third.
A tiger’s more or less a cat,
And lard is very roughly fat.

Borrowed money’s mostly a loan,
And granite’s pretty much of stone.

Pasta is relatively filling,
And murder is technically killing.
What’s raw is basically underdone.
And five is largely four and one.

Pinochet’s fascist, so to speak,
Seven days is practically a week.
A finish is often an end.
A curve is principally a bend.

Borrowed money’s mostly a loan,
And granite’s pretty much of stone.

A diamond is nominally hard,
And sentries typically guard.
A thought’s a mental thing somewhat.
A full stop’s very much a dot.
Grass for the most part is a plant.
Short for ‘shall not’ is almost ‘shant’.
Wood comes in real sense from trees,
And honey’s in a way from bees.
Sunrise is a really eastern thing.
Ivy virtually tends to cling.

A dog is in a sense canine.
A pig’s a veritable swine,
And Ronald Reagan is a rancher.
